Introducing: The Next Urban Farmer in Santurce

I live in a big city of San Juan in a section called Santurce.  I want to develop the vacant land next to my house into an urban farm.  It is a long term goal!  This is not an easy goal to accomplish because I have a very busy life. I am full time English Professor at UMET in Bayamon.   I have three children, a husband, a dog, a cat, and some homeless people that I feed on a regular basis.  I also write, edit and work as an education consultant.  I also do not know much about growing food!
